John Krasinski Starts Youtube Show ‘Some Good News’ And Invites Steve Carell To Participate


Despite the confusion, uncertainty, grief, and despair the pandemic has caused, there’s never a bad time to look for the positive side of things. Sick of all the sad news on the media, John Krasinski decided to change the narrative by creating “Some Good News” YouTube channel. The new show is dedicated to the heartwarming, inspiring and uplifting stories from around the world. His very first episode welcomed a special guest–Steve Carell to commemorate the 15th anniversary of The Office.

Recently, John Krasinski started a new YouTube show in hopes to lift up people’s spirits by sharing positive news

Last week John Krasinski took to Twitter to ask people to share the things that made them smile and feel good recently. Quickly, he was flooded with amazing stories from around the world that happened in the midst of the crisis.

With the help of his followers, Krasinski started a new YouTube show called “Some Good News”.

“We are all going through an incredibly trying time, but, through all the anxiety, through all the confusion, all the isolation, and all the Tiger King, somehow the human spirit found a way to break through and blow us all away,” Krasinski opened his show.

The very first episode was started by showing how cities around the world are applauding the doctors and nurses who are relentlessly fighting for the lives of those affected by the COVID-19. The second story was about a young girl named Coco who recently won her battle with cancer and was welcomed home with the round of applause from her entire neighborhood.

However, not all of the stories featured on ‘Some Good News’ will make you cry, well unless it’s from laughter. In case, you didn’t know, the classic sitcom The Office is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

To commemoriate this special occasion Krasinski invited Steve Carell to virtually participate at his show as the “Entertainment Correspondent”
